When you save with Accrue, your money is always in your control, and you will always have access to it. You can request to withdraw the funds you deposited from your account, transfer your deposits to a wallet for a different merchant, or close your wallet and get a full refund of the money you have deposited.
If you decide to withdraw funds from your wallet, keep in mind that you will forfeit all of the rewards you have earned for those deposits. This is true even after you have made a purchase for less than the full deposit amount in your wallet because rewards will be applied on a prorated basis at the time of each purchase.
For example, if you have $100 in your wallet ($90 in deposits and $10 in rewards) and make a purchase for $50, you would have $45 in deposits left and $5 in rewards available. If you closed your wallet at that point and requested a refund, you would receive only the $45 deposited.
To withdraw funds from your wallet, follow the steps below:
- Choose the wallet you would like to transfer funds OUT of.
- Click the small pencil icon and choose Transfer money
- On the Transfer money screen
- Enter the Amount to be transferred.
The available amount will be listed on the account; you cannot withdraw funds that are still pending. We have a daily withdrawal limit of $1,000. If you have deposited more than this and want to withdraw all of your funds, you can split the amount and withdraw on consecutive days.
- Choose the account to transfer the funds to.
You can only transfer funds from your wallet to a linked bank account. If you have a debit card attached currently, choose Add payment method to connect your bank account.
- Once everything looks okay click Continue
- The next screen will show you the summary, including the rewards that will be forfeited. If this looks correct click Proceed.
- Answer a few questions for us so we can improve our product to fit your future needs!
Please note: any saving rules you have set will still run as usual. You can change or delete them anytime by following the steps in these guides: Adjusting your set and forget schedule and/or Adjusting round-ups. Once the withdrawal is completed, it typically takes 3-5 business days for the funds to become available in your account.
