One exciting thing about Accrue is having friends and family contribute to your wallet! Have a birthday coming up? Don’t know what you want for the next gift-exchanging holiday? Rather than get another gift basket you won’t use or a gift card to a place you never go, let your friends and family know what you want and have them contribute any amount they wish toward your wallet! You also will earn rewards on their deposits into your account!
1. From your iPhone sign in to your Accrue wallet in the justfly app
2. Click on "Add funds" .
3. Click on “Crowdfunds”.
4. The following screens will help us get to know you and gather information to ensure your friends and family can identify you and everyone’s money remains safe. If you have already completed identity verification, you will skip to step 5.
We will deposit your money and the money contributed by your friends in an FDIC-insured account in your name. We must verify your identity to do this. Accrue does not store your information; it will be submitted directly to our Sponsor Bank, Bangor Savings Bank. You can read more in our FAQS.
You can just follow the screens to enter your information. Once you have completed this, you will see this screen. Click “Crowdfund” to continue.
5. From here choose one of the many ways you would like to share the link to have friends and family contribute to your savings! (Copy the link to share anywhere or choose one of the automated links to bring you directly to your social to add your message and share!)
6. Once you have shared your link, you can “X” out of the box and wait for your friends and family to show you love!
